PAYMENT
We accept check (upon approval) or money order, VISA, and MasterCard. Net 30: Open accounts are granted to industrial customers with qualifying credit verification. Payment from non-US customers shall be by wire transfer to our bank, after which order would ship.
PREPAYMENT
You may include a check or money order with your mail order. Funds to cover shipping and insurance should be included in the total; please call your Harlan Labs Sales Representative for the total amount. Allow 10 days for processing personal checks.
RECONDITIONED EQUIPMENT
Reconditioned equipment is represented to be in good operating condition. All reconditioned equipment is processed through a complete operational verification and calibrated to manufacturer's specifications; NIST traceable calibration is available for an additional fee. Unless noted, reconditioned equipment is in good physical condition. Harlan Labs provides instruction manuals and standard accessories with most reconditioned equipment.
WARRANTY & LIABILITY
Equipment supplied from Harlan Labs, Inc.'s inventory on a sale basis is warranted for a period of ninety (90) days parts and labor starting with the date of delivery unless otherwise specified.
The return of warranty-repaired equipment will be prepaid via the least expensive transit means unless otherwise requested by the customer, in which case the shipment will be made C.O.D. for shipping charges.
Warranty-maintenance of equipment provided under a Conditional Sale Agreement will remain Harlan Labs, Inc.'s responsibility until payment of the balance of the agreed upon price.
Warranty periods beyond the change of ownership will be individually negotiated and will be based in part on the age and nature of the equipment involved.
NOTE: Any repair, attempted repair, modification, or calibration by anyone other than Harlan Labs, Inc. without written authorization will automatically void warranty.
INSURANCE
Insurance will be provided by the customer to protect Harlan Labs, Inc. owned equipment while on customer premises or in transit.
TAX LIABILITY
Customer shall be responsible for any and all taxes incurred through the use or temporary possession of Harlan Labs, Inc.'s equipment including, but not limited to: use, sale or similar assessments levied by local, state, or federal government.
SHIPPING
All orders are shipped F.O.B. San Diego, California. Preferred method of shipment should be specified at the time the order is placed. If no method or "best way" is specified, we will ship via air carrier or UPS. Packing suitable for domestic shipment is included in the instrument price. Actual shipping and insurance charges are added to the invoice amount. Freight is non-refundable.
SHIPPING DAMAGE
It is the customer's responsibility to contact the carrier promptly to report any shipping damage. Harlan Labs insures all shipments for the full cost of the merchandise unless the customer requests a lower amount.
MINIMUM ORDER
A minimum order of $50.00 is required for all shipments within the continental US; $300 for all other orders.
